WILLEMSTAD – Yesterday, we learned that another CHATA-Member has become a victim of an armed robbery. “It is unsettling that these events have transpired in such rapid succession targeting one of the most important industries of Curaçao,” according to Liza Dindial, President & CEO of CHATA.
As CHATA we are in contact with the corresponding authorities to ensure the safety of not only hotel personnel but also tourists visiting our island.
CHATA has been receiving an increasing number of complaints of such incidents happening at various CHATA member properties which is of concern.
CHATA will continue to monitor the situation and act accordingly.
