WILLEMSTAD – During his dissertation in Parliament, the Pueblo Soberano faction leader Melvin Cijntje says that if the Governor, in her letter to Parliament, gives the suggestion to go to the Netherlands to talk about the elections, then they will do just that.
According to Cijntje, he laments that the impression he had two weeks ago became reality when he received the letter from the Governor which confirmed that the democracy has been suspended for a few weeks. Cijntje also took note of the letter that says that Parliament could go to the Kingdom Council of Ministers to request an annulment of the snap elections called for April 28.
Furthermore, Cijntje indicates that there is nothing else Parliament can do than just that, follow the council given by the Governor in her letter. “But it remains regrettable because here in Curaçao we believed that the majority can decide but now we received the confirmation that, whenever the Governor receives a letter from Parliament with a request, meaning to ask the Kingdom Council of Ministers something, she takes it upon herself not to comply.”
According to Cijntje there is no other alternative than to go to the Netherlands. “But it will be all worth it,” said Cijntje. “Curaçao is right now at the risk of dissolving parliament and calling elections every three months. We have to stop that. The people are divided. We have to show now that there must be respect for the majority in Parliament.”

Neem gewoon de tijd om, na de overgrote NEE, een tripje Kunta Kinteh Island te maken, (vroeger James Island) in Gambia. Elmina Castle in Ghana. Of Zimbabwe, het zwaarst getroffen door moderne slavernij. Allemaal eyeopener, meneer Cijntje. Wordt u nederig van.

Count the votes individually and see if you are right. Anser: no. Buying, stealing or borroing seats in Parlement, may look like a majority, but that is a criminal mirage. Making a lot of fuzz does not make wrong into right.
Be a man and call for a referendum for completly stepping out of the Kingdom. In the Netherlands the majority will support you.

How many votes did the PS get in 2016 and in 2012. PS only got one seat and a residual seat. The people already said what they think about the PS

Payaso Cijntje zei na diens arrestatie zelfs te overwegen zijn baan als Statenlid op te geven. Alsof iemand serieus geloofde dat hij zijn 12,000 in de maand op zou geven en terug zou keren naar zijn lullige kantoorbaantje van 2,000 in de maand.
28 april afrekenen met deze mislukkeling.
Met zo’n domme blik in de ogen kun je haast ook niets anders verwachten dan dit soort opmerkingen.
De gouverneur wil helemaal niet dat jullie naar Nederland gaan. De gouverneur heeft gesproken, heeft aangegeven dat de verkiezingen NIET zullen worden uitgesteld en normaal gesproken respecteer je zo’n uitspraak.
Natuurlijk mag je door blijven drammen tot aan het hoogste orgaan, doch dat houdt niet in dat je dat ook moet doen.
Dear Mr. Cijntje. What about you respect the majority of the people of Curacao. You may think that you represent the mayority of the people, but count your votes and see that you do not represent the mayority. Go fly a kite. After 28 of April, you’re out, gone.
