WILLEMSTAD – The moment the new nonstop flight between New York and Curaçao with JetBlue was announced, this destination has seen a significant increase in passengers from New York.
To offer support to the airline and hotel partners, the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) has join its wholesale partners in marketing, Travel Impressions, GOGO World Wide Vacations and other partners in the private sector to organize the New York Roadshow.
This event was organized with the objective to inform travel agents and to maintain Curaçao as a first option destination for their clients.
During four days, the Curaçao team has organized various educational seminars, they held sales conversations and held events dedicated to the New York media.
This is how they’ve covered a large part of the great city of New York. To do this, CTB counted on the cooperation of various partners in the industry such as, Avila Hotel, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino, Pelican Express, Presto Car Rental, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort and Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino.
The road show was initiated at Long Island, whit about 50 travel agents.
