WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Culinary Team is ready for the Taste of the Caribbean competition that will take place in Miami from June 6th to June 10th.

The team will fly with Insel Air to Miami coming Sunday. This year’s competition promises to to be an incredible learning experience for the young Curaçao Culinary Team with the guidance of Team Manager, Carlos Anthony who has won several gold medals at the Taste of the Caribbean.

Taste of the Caribbean provides a forum for gathering practical information and developing skills in the food & beverage business. This year’s Taste of the Caribbean will bring innovative and exciting educational sessions for food & beverage professionals that promise to enhance individual skills.

Since 1993, the best chefs and culinary teams unite to learn, demonstrate their skills and provide the general public with an exhibition of the mouth watering and delectable treats of their respective island. Taste of the Caribbean is the region’s premier culinary competition and cultural showcase. Other participating islands include Anguilla, Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Martin, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos and US Virgin Islands.

The team is ready to take over Miami and bring home the GOLD!!
