WILLEMSTAD- As part of Curaçao’s promotional tour in Venezuela, which was announced in April of this year by the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB), the last two workshops took place in Maracaibo and Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
CTB together with its partners in the tourism sector presented Curaçao’s tourism and economic potentials to all those present.
Previously these workshops took place in Puerto Ordaz, Caracas and Valencia. The workshop in Maracaibo took place at the Hotel Kristoff and in Barquisimeto at Lidotel Boutique-Barqusimeto. These two workshops had more than 140 participants. These participants are tour operators, travel agents, investors and 16 media. The topic of these workshops was ‘Curaçao 2015, a year of business opportunities’.
Curaçao not only distinguished itself with potential visitors to the island, but also to those who are looking for possible investment opportunities. The visitors also received information about the airlines operating between various cities of Venezuela and Curaçao. CTB was accompanied by Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino, Hilton Curaçao, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, Piscadera Harbour Village, Papagayo Curaçao, Veneto Casino and Holiday Beach Resort and Sambil Curaçao. They all gave valuable information about their products and services.
CTB’s partners were satisfied for the opportunity to have participated in these workshops, which gave them a chance to exhibit Curaçao as an ideal destination for vacation and investment.
