PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – One prisoner was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon at the Pointe Blanch Prison. Unconfirmed information reaching this website states that a prisoner “Carlos Richardson” who is currently serving time for his involvement in the Vesuvius case, attempted to attack another prisoner known as “Nuto” from Curaçao.

Carlos is said to have pulled a gun at some point in his attempt to attack Nuto however his attack is said to have been thwarted by Noto’s body guards in prison.

The “body guard” prisoners of Nuto Wawoe (who is said to be a top lieutenant in the “No Limit Solider” ) are said to have jumped Carlos before he could have shot Nuto and proceeded to beat and chop him on several parts of his body.

Carlos is said to have been badly beaten and seriously injured by the so-called body guards of Nuto who is said to be a top lieutenant in the “No Limit Solider” (NLS) gang from Curaçao.

Carlos richardson-Nuto Wawoe-Point Blanche-3We also learnt that during the investigation by the prison authorities and the police, another gun was found bringing the total to two (2) guns that was recovered from the prison on Thursday afternoon.

We now have information that this case is also being investigated by the Landsrecherche.

The police issued a press release on their part of the operation Thursday. the release can be read below.

On Thursday September 11th at approximately 03.30 p.m. the police department received an urgent call from the Point Blanche Prison requesting assistance in connection with a very serious altercation between inmates whereby one inmate was seriously wounded by another with a makeshift machete. According to the report a gun was involved in this altercation however no shots were fired. Numerous police officers, K-9 Unit and detectives were immediately sent to the prison in order to investigate what had taken place and to carry out a search to locate the fire-arm. On the scene the investigating officers located the victim with initials C.R. who was bleeding profusely from numerous severe cuts to his head and a serious stab wound to his back.

The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment. During a search of the cell-blocks where the altercation took place by the K-9 unit two pistols were found. These pistols were both loaded and ready for use. The pistols were both confiscated for along with the makeshift machete for further investigation. So far one suspect has been arrested for the possession of an illegal fire-arm.

More arrests are expected in connection with the ill-treatment as the investigation continues.
